Having completed her BA at the Royal Irish Academy of Music and recently MA in Classical String Performance at the University of Limerick, Jane has performed regularly with the National Symphony Orchestra, RTE Concert Orchestra, Irish Chamber Orchestra and Wexford Festival Opera. She has studied abroad at the University of Graz, Austria and Bloomington, Indiana and has taken masterclasses with leading pedagogues, including Maxim Vengerov in the National Concert Hall.
Jane enjoys a diverse mix of repertoire, spanning from solo, chamber and orchestral, to experimental performance art and contemporary music. She made her solo debut with the RTE Concert Orchestra in 2015, and since then has given many solo recitals including the RDS Rising Stars Concert and Music in Great Irish Houses. As a member of the Beara Quartet, Jane has performed at the West Cork Chamber Music Festival, North Cork Concert Series, Triskel Arts Centre Series and Classics in the Park.
Jane is a recipient of the Lyric FM and Arts Council bursaries as well as South Dublin County Council awards. The latter, funding her collaboration with Irish composer Robert Coleman. She is a member of the contemporary group Kirkos Ensemble and traditional/experimental Kileena Ensemble.
Jane has performed around Europe, Asia and the States with numerous orchestras, including the European Union Youth Orchestra.
