Katie is a Dublin-based, interdisciplinary director from Minneapolis, Minnesota. She has worked with Druid (DruidO’Casey, The Last Return), Irish National Opera (Fidelio, Don Pasquale, Der Rosenkavalier), Volya Theatre (Eden Hotel, Revolutionary), Draíocht Blanchardstown (NEST/SOAR), Dublin Youth Theatre (The Wonderful World of Dissocia, Chatroom), Aon Scéal Theatre (Tír na nÓg), dlr Mill Theatre (Hamlet), Dublin Fringe (Eleanora Salter & the Monster from the Sea, The Perfect Immigrant, Happy Capital), the Lir Academy (Big Maggie), as well as Children’s Theatre Company, Ten Thousand Things and the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis. She was the recipient of Druid’s Marie Mullen Bursary in 2022 and a studio director with Irish National Opera for their 2023 season. Katie holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from The Boston Conservatory and an MFA in Directing from The Lir Academy. She is represented by Sovran Carey Agency.
